Job: Canales Demolition and Hauling demolished and removed over 1700 sq ft of 40yr old concrete patios and brick planters containing overgrown junipers and ivy from our backyard. Our home had access issues which limited the ability to use a tractor for the majority of the the work. At least 75% of the work had to be done by hand and wheel barrow. After demolition was complete they graded and leveled the backyard.
Member Comments: Joe (owner) from Canales Demolition is awesome. He was one of three companies from Angies List that I received estimates from for the demolition. Joe was the only person to call me back after submitting his estimate and he was willing to work with me on the price. Joe was the only person of the three that truly seemed interested in doing the job. Access to the site was limited and Joe and and his crew took tremendous care in preserving our existing landscaping while doing the demolition. The majority of this painstaking work had to be done by hand and Joe and his crew didn't balk at all. If you have any demolition or hauling that needs to be done you need to use this guy! Joe is honest, fair, and works hard.

Job: I have a small backyard that was nothing but major weeds and dirt. Canales Demolition came in, cleared all of the weeds. Leveled the backyard and took is down two inches so that I can either cement it in or put in rocks for landscaping. He also hauled away all weeds, yard debris and excess dirt.

Mr. Canales, Jr. showed up on time and was very helpful in showing me what needed to be done. His bid was the lowest of the three companies I contacted. He and his workers showed up on time and completed the job in the promised time frame. Considering this was a small job, I feel as if I was treated the same way he would treat a large contract. I would definitely use him again.

Job: We had a wonderful experience. Saturday morning the day we were hosting a party the entire side of the house was full of debris from our kitchen remodel. The company we have loyally used cancelled at the last minute. In a panic I logged onto Angie's List find a company who could come right away on a Saturday. Since we were hosting a party we were in a panic.

Job: Demolition and hauling away approx 160 sq ft of concrete and saw cutting and removal of sod at 2 inch depth from entire backyard. This was done in preparation for new, drought resistant landscaping and ground cover.
Customer Comments: I called on a Mon afternoon and the owner Joe answered the phone. We made appt for him to assess the project at 8 am the next morning. He arrived promptly and understood exactly what I needed done. He did some measurements and calculations and figured the price right then. I told him my budget and I know he tried to work with me within those limits. We agreed to a price, which I thought was extremely fair. He agreed to start the next morning before 8 and he arrived on time, with 2 trucks and 3 workers. They immediately went to work. Joe worked with him, operating the jack hammer. They finished the job approx 4 pm. The concrete was completely hauled away and all the remaining soil was watered down and graded. They had to take out a piece of fence to access the hauling and they put the fence back in better shape than when they started. The yard and clean up was immaculate. This was the most positive experience I've had with any contractor, and I've had a lot! Joe was polite, knowledgable, honest and hard working. I HIGHLY recommend this company's services!
